Despite our fears for rain we had a lovely sunny
day at our Christmas Fayre.
James from Buddy's Mobile Dog Wash came along and provided his
wonderful dog washing service. Nanuke pictured here was treated to a bath by his
owners...what a gorgeous dog!
It was also really lovely to see some ex-BARC residents...Patch
and Willow who were rehomed in November 2008 came along with their owners to
enjoy the day. Anita is also a regular volunteer for us as well as looking after
her dogs.
Also pictured here is Storm looking very festive next to the
Poinsettias! Storm is being cared for in a wonderful foster home with Amanda
March and her dog Tilly. She is looking really well and some great news is that
a family are very interested in adopting her.
Fingers crossed for Storm...we love a happy ending!
Storm (now Rosie Elia Winter) did indeed have a happy ending, and for anyone who witnessed her 'mad five minutes', they still exist! She is the best rescue dog anyone could ever hope for, and we are truly grateful for her wonderful loyalty and joyful prescence.
