The sun was shining down on BARC this Saturday as the World Cup fun day took place. The morning was kicked off with Roary The Lion in his England football shirt to entertain kids and adults alike...he tried his luck at the penalty shoot out and did rather well for a Lion! There were plenty of stalls to keep visitors occupied and and lots of footy themed games to get involved with.CJPU very kindly opened their bar for visitors on the day which was very much appreciated. A super raffle with wonderful prizes rounded off the day.
The staff and volunteers all worked really hard to make the day a success and a total of 700 euros was raised, which will all go towards looking after the many Cats and Dogs at BARC.
A huge thank you to all that helped and attented on the day...let's hope the next event is an even bigger success!
